Louis Walsh has vowed to bring his new boyband Hometown onto the X Factor to perform.
But the Mayo man admits that they need a bit more time to hit their stride – which they will get from their Christmas panto and another Late Late show performance.
And when asked by Goss.ie if the band would perform on the show next year, he insisted: “Absolutely”.

He said: “Absolutely [they will be on the X Factor when they’re ready. But vocally these boys are amazing.
“We’re going to do Childline and the Late Late show and all that then we’re going to do the panto and then were going to get them ready for the UK for next year.”
The boyband are set to appear in the Christmas panto Aladdin this year alongside their mentor Louis.
Yesterday, Goss.ie told how Louis is certain their first single – which is released in November – will be a number one.
