Louis Walsh AXES member of new boyband after just a month

Louis Walsh has cruelly axed a member from his new boyband after less than a month – just like he was forced to do when setting up Westlife.

The X Factor judge has now finalised the line-up of Hometown after record labels flew to see them.

Now the band has become a six piece with Josh Grey, 17, and Dean Gibbons, 20, becoming the final two added to the group.

Old line up: Louis axed Garret (second from left) from lineup

However Derry teenager Garret Borrowe has been axed from the line up – as Brendan Murray, 17, Cian Morrin, 19, Dayl Cronin, 20, and Ryan McLoughlin, 20, stay.

Already Hometown have performed for Warner Music, Sony and Universal Music and should be signed within the coming week.

They will then be unveiled on the Late Late Show, following in the footsteps of Boyzone’s awful debut.
