Little Mix have released a statement, after Cardi B claimed she was approached to feature on their hit song Woman Like Me before Nicki Minaj.
The rapper posted a string of videos last night, addressing her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj.
After the videos hit headlines, Little Mix revealed that both artists were contacted to feature on the song.
But, the band confirmed that Nicki was approached first, and that they’ve always wanted to work with her.

Little Mix have always named Nicki as the artist they’d love to collaborate with in a number of previous interviews.
“We went with Nicki because like we’ve said over and over for years, it’s been a dream of ours to work with her since the beginning,” they said.
The girls also expressed their love and positivity towards both Nicki and Cardi.
