Eminem and Beyoncé have just dropped a brand new track.
The artists have teamed up for an emotional new ballad titled ‘Walk on Water’, and it comes with an unexpected message.
The song features some angelic vocals from Beyoncé in the chorus, and Eminem dissects his life and his career, while rapping about the pressure of being perfect and constantly living up to a standard.
The rapper then questions how people can look at him as a god, noting that it’s “all a facade and it’s exhausted.”
Beyoncé then ends the chill-inducing track with a twist on the chorus, asking people to remember that even the worlds greatest musicians are human too.
“I walk on water, but only when it freezes/ because I’m only human, just like you,” she sings. “I’ve been making my mistakes, so if you only knew/ I don’t think you should believe me the way that you do/ because I’m terrified to let you down.”
The song was shared on YouTube just last night, and has already gained over 6 million views on that platform alone.
The single is a part of Eminem’s rumoured new album, Revival.
