Keith Duffy admits first night on West End was 'nerve wrecking'

Singer Keith Duffy has revealed he was nervous performing on the West End for the first time.

Last night the Boyzone star took the stage for his show A Hand Full Of Stars.

“I’m feeling great. It was brilliant, it was nerve wrecking though, I can’t lie to you.

“It was my first show in the West End, the audience was sitting all around you so it was scary,” he said.

Character: Keith is a former boxer in the show

Keith plays a former boxer who comes out of retirement for one last fight, with the entire play set in Ireland.

“It’s set in Wexford, at a time of recession, so it’s very like what Ireland is now,” he told ITV’s This Morning.

While Keith will be busy on the West End this summer, he also has more Boyzone gigs.
