The 41-year-old promised fans that the album would be released on Saturday 29th September during his Saturday Night Live performance, but were furious when there was no sign of it.
Many fans were outraged at the rapper because he kept silent about the album release date following his SNL performance.
The father-of-three has finally announced why the highly-anticipated album has not been released yet.
Kanye appeared on TMZ Live last night and told fans that he has not finished recording his 9th studio album.
The rapper revealed that he plans to go to Africa to finish the album within the next few weeks.
Kanye said that he wants to draw inspiration from the energy in Africa and revealed a new release date for Yandhi.
The album is set to drop on Black Friday on 23rd November.
