The Jonas Brother have poked fun at Diplo ruining Joe and Sophie Turner’s secret Las Vegas wedding in their new music video.
The band have teamed up with the DJ to release a new song called ‘Lonely’, and the music video is hilarious.
It kicks off with Diplo reading a headline about him “ruining” Joe and Sophie’s wedding by live-streaming it on Instagram, and looking very disappointed with himself.
He then sends Joe a text trying to apologise for live-streaming the “most important” day of his life – but the singer keeps ignoring his messages.
Diplo even starts texting Joe’s brothers Nick and Kevin trying to get through to him, but he fails miserably.
Finally, Joe starts to feel bad about ghosting Diplo, and the three brothers attempt to FaceTime the DJ.
But right before a delighted looking Diplo goes to answer the phone, his battery dies.
Earlier this year, Joe admitted Diplo “ruined” his wedding to Sophie by live-streaming it.
At the time, he said: “He did ruin it. I love Diplo, but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old.”
Trying to defend his actions, Diplo later said: “I didn’t know it was a serious wedding. I really didn’t know what was going on. I was hanging out with him after the Billboard Awards. I said, ‘This is crazy, let me record it.'”
“And there was mad people with cameras. I didn’t know I was the only person recording this. I was sitting next to Khalid and we were both with our phones out. I had no idea that I was the only one doing it,” he said during an interview On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
