Jedward design their album art to be tattooed on fans' bodies – after huge number of inkings

Eurovision twins Jedward have revealed they design their album art to be tattooed on fans’ bodies.

The former X Factor stars admitted they also want their lyrics to be “tattoo-able” – with 40 already getting inked with their latest track.

“We always want to do something that will appeal to our fans like Free Spirit – so far 40 fans have got it tattooed on them,” John said.

“So that must mean a lot to them. We always want to write songs that have meaning to them.”

And John added that when they pick artwork it has to be “cool” just incase fans get it on their body.

The Dublin singer also revealed that him and brother Edward are constantly confronted by fans showing them their face tattooed on their body.

“Anytime we pick songs or album artwork we always want to make it cool incase anyone decides to get it tattooed,” he told Eagle Radio.

“And when we’re writing a lyric, we want it to be a tattoo-able lyric. It’s cool.

“It’s their choice, no-one has to do it. But it’s cool when they come up to you and say: ‘I’ve got your face tattooed to my arm’. You’re like, ‘Okay…’.”

Previously Jedward revealed they were hoping to go to the Eurovision again, but represent another country.
