Country star Garth Brooks has hinted that he may be returning to Ireland for a concert.

The American singer caused huge controversy last year when his infamous gigs were cancelled.

The 53-year-old crooner is currently on his Man Against Machine tour having played 100 concerts in 77 days to meet with demands.

Following his US tour, Garth will make his way to Europe to perform.

And when asked by Rolling Stones whether or not he will play in Ireland, the remained tight lipped on the sensitive subject.

“I can’t answer that,” he admitted.

Country: all five Croke Park dates pulled last year

It comes after he was supposed to play five sold out gigs in Croke Park having only being granted three licences to play.

Not being given all five permits, Garth pulled out of all dates leaving 400,000 fans massively disappointed.

Only recently, Garth admitted to Patrick Kielty that he wants to return to Ireland to play.

“He said ‘Well it was one of those things, we couldn’t make it work’ and he was gutted and he wants to try and fit it back in the tour and all these things,” Patrick told The Irish Daily Star.
