Ed Sheeran earns more money in a year than any musician EVER

Ed Sheeran has made more money over the past year than any musician ever, raking in a massive £342 million.

The 27-year-old almost made £1m a day over the past year, smashing the all-time record for the for most money made from a tour within a twelve month period.

The singer’s successful year comes after he sold 4.9 million tickets for his world tour, off the back of his ‘Divide’ album. 

The singer beat out his pal Taylor Swift, who took home a whopping £244m from her Reputation tour.

Ed and Taylor were followed by Beyoncé and Jay Z, who earned £201m thanks to their On The Run II tour.
