Singer Danny O’Donoghue has revealed the brakes failed on the tour bus for The Script, but the band didn’t notice because they were so drunk.
Guitarist Mark Sheehan was thrown through two doors with instruments smashing as the driver lost control.
“We were jamming down the back of the bus, when suddenly the brakes locked,” Danny said.

“I saw Mark getting thrown through two doors, and all our instruments got smashed.”
“Thank God we were drunk at the time, and didn’t know what was going on,” he told the Irish Sun.
But it seems Danny is just fine with near death experiences.

The singer is set to perform tightrope walking in The Script’s upcoming music video Man On The Wire.
“I’m going have to do a tightrope-walking course to make the video. Rather me than Mark who is terrified of heights.”
The Script’s latest album No Sound Without Silence is released on September 12.
