Croke Park resident going to High Court on Thursday to block Garth Brooks' three allowed gigs

Legal action to block the three allowed Garth Brooks gigs is to take place on Thursday.

The High Court will hear an application from local Brian Duff who wants to stop the shows on 25, 26 and 27 July going ahead.

The scaffolder – has been involved with the Croke Park Streets Committee group – but is taking the action by himself.

He said he has lived in the area for his whole life and fears anti-social behaviour when the shows take place.

He added he will find it tough to gain access to his home and will be subjected to Garth fans “vomiting” and “urinating” on the street.

Promoters Aiken Promotions are set to be served with papers.
