New high court battle to stop ALL Garth Brooks gigs from going ahead

Legal proceedings have begun in the high court today, to prevent any of the planned Garth Brooks gig from taking place.

The papers were filed by one of the Croke Park residents Brian Duff, whose solicitor is named as Anthony Fay, the solicitor acting for some residents of Croke Park.

The case is against Aiken Promotions (Ireland) Ltd and Páirc an Chrócaigh Teoranta (Croke Park Ltd).

The legal battle comes just days after Garth revealed it would be “five shows or no shows” one Dublin City Council said only three shows could go ahead.

There were reports that Aiken would be putting in a request to keep the other two gigs, but on different dates.
