Woman who inspired Jennifer Lopez’s Hustlers character threatens to SUE the film’s producers

She's NOT happy...

The woman who inspired Jennifer Lopez’s Hustlers character has threatened to sue the film’s producers.

Hustlers, which was written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, is based on New York magazine’s 2015 article “The Hustlers at Scores” by Jessica Pressler.

The plot follows a crew of strippers in New York City who begin to embezzle money by drugging stock traders and CEOs who visit their club.

The film has been a huge hit at the box office since it’s release, and now Samantha Barbash, who inspired the film’s Ramona character, is demanding money from the movie’s producers.

According to Variety, Samantha’s lawyer Bruno Gioffre gave STX 10 days to come to a deal with her.

But in response, STX said they didn’t need Samantha’s approval to make the movie.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We will defend our right to tell factually based stories based on the public record and look forward to resolving this matter before a judge.”

The news comes after Samantha expressed her issues with the movie during a chat with TMZ last week.

She accused the film’s producers of allegedly “stealing” her story, and took a pop at J.Lo too.

Samantha slammed Jennifer for not getting in touch with her, and accused her of defaming her character.
