The first trailer for Jim Sheridan’s latest film, The Secret Scripture, is finally here.
The movie is an adaptation of Sebastian Barry’s best-selling novel, and stars an amazing cast – which includes Rooney Mara, Eric Bana, Aidan Turner, Theo James, Jack Reynor, Tom Vaughan Lawlor and Vanessa Redgrave.
The film tells the story of a one-hundred-year-old woman, Roseanne McNulty (Redgrave) who has lived in a Co. Roscommon Mental Hospital for almost half of her life, and decides to write an autobiography.
The movie was co-written and directed by Jim Sheridan, and is set for release in Ireland in the New Year. Watch the trailer below:
