The Simpsons film sequel has been confirmed.
The cartoon classic released The Simpsons Movie in 2007 and there have been rumours of a sequel for several years, but the news has now officially been confirmed.
The dysfunctional family are not the only cartoon sensation to be hitting the big screen as Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy have also been confirmed for film remakes.
“The film studio is partnering with the Fox television studio on a big-screen adaptation of the animated series Bob’s Burgers, a second Simpsons movie in development, and a Family Guy film that would mix animation with live action,” a source told The Wall Street Journal.
The Simpsons Movie earned over $500 million in the box office as well as receiving soaring reviews from critics, so there are high expectations for the sequel.
