Peaky Blinders director reveals film script is already being written

Peaky Blinders director, Otto Bathurst, has revealed that a film script is already being written.

The 47-year-old confirmed the news that a film is in the works, but it looks like it is further along than fans expected.

“I think it’s actually being written,” Otto told Yahoo Movies UK.

“I think Steve, Steve Knight the writer, I think they’re planning something, yeah,” he continued.

Last year, Steve announced that they are “probably going to do it” but didn’t officially confirm a film adaption of the hugely popular series.

The cast are currently filming the fifth series, which will see a host of new faces, such as Brian Gleeson, Charlene McKenna and Emmett J. Scanlan, join the cast.
