“God, that’s a long time ago but I just remember worshipping the atmosphere, the history and, of course, drinking in the company of the world’s finest drinkers,” he told The Sun.

“Who wouldn’t have an absolute ball there? It’s mandatory. It was a fantastic experience and I’d love to come back and work there again soon.”

However, the Horrible Bosses actor also admitted he struggled a lot with the Irish accent when he was filming Ordinary Decent Criminal in 2000.

“I found that the accent was a total bitch to master,” he revealed.

The A-lister isn’t just a fan of the drinking and also opened up about his huge admiration for Irish playwrights.

“I’ve always been a fan of Irish theatre and playwrights. Wilde, Synge and O’Casey are, of course, masters.

And the younger playwrights like Conor McPherson and Martin McDonagh have very distinct and original voices,” he added.
