Jason Bourne director wants next movie to feature ‘car chase down the Liffey’

The director of the latest Bourne instalment has admitted he would love to shoot parts of the next move in Ireland.

Paul Greengrass, who directed Jason Bourne, is also known for directing the 2002 movie Bloody Sunday.

The British director has directed and written the Bourne series, and admitted he loves the idea of filming a car chase scene in Dublin alongside the River Liffey.

Driving scene: Paul wants to shoot in Ireland

“Oh, that would be fantastic,” he told the Irish Independent.

“I’d like that. That would be good. Down the Liffey. I have such happy memories of shooting in Dublin.”

It comes after Matt Damon admitted that he loved spending time in Dublin during a break in filming the action movie.

The Hollywood actor revealed he “ticked off the bucket list” by going to see U2 perform.
