Irish actor Jack Reynor keeps landing top Hollywood roles, and his lucky streak hasn’t ended just yet.
The Wicklow star, who is currently promoting Transformers 4, has been cast in Casey Affleck’s new movie about baseball player Josh Hamilton.
While Casey is directing the movie and has written the script, Goss.ie can reveal his older brother Ben Affleck will be producing.

A movie source told us Ben and best friend Matt Damon are both involved with the project.
“Ben and Matt will both be producers on the film. They’ll be on set quite a lot. So Jack doesn’t just have to impress Casey, he’ll have to impress them too.
“Ben has a good eye for a talent, he only works with the best,” the source explained.

The insider revealed that this role, as the drug addicted sports star, could be Jack’s big break.
“Transformers is obviously a huge deal but he doesn’t play the lead. In this new movie Jack will be the lead, the entire movie rests on his shoulders.
“This will really make it or break it for him, it’s a huge responsibility,” the insider said.
In the meantime Jack’s latest movie Glassland will premiere at the Galway FIlm Festival.
