Harry Styles is reportedly in talks to play Elvis Presley in an upcoming biopic.
According to Deadline, the former One Direction star is up against a number of young actors, who are all vying for the lead role in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic.
It’s believed Harry is in the running alongside Austin Butler, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ansel Elgort and Miles Teller.
Whoever is cast as Elvis will star alongside Tom Hanks in the film, who will play the legendary singer’s manager Colonel Tom Parker.
The biopic will focus on Elvis’ rise to stardom, and his close relationship with his manager.
The news comes two years after Harry won praise when he made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk back in 2017.
