Love/Hate star Aoibhinn McGinnity has moved from Nidge’s wife to the star of the stage in new movie Poison Pen.
The Irish actress, best known as Trish in the RTE drama shows off her singing skills in the new Irish made film.
“It was all mimed on set,” Aoibhinn said. “It was a great experience though. I had recorded it live.”

The actress – who plays a magazine editor – belts out Ain’t Got Nobody in the new Irish made movie which was screened at the Galway Film Fleadh.
Now Aoibhinn, who was linked to The Coronas frontman Danny O’Reilly, is hoping to make a more permanent move into singing.
The Monaghan actress told Goss.ie wants to spend more time working on her music career.
Aoibhinn joins former Love/Hate star Susan Loughnane in Poison Pen, which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh last night.
