Galway girl Shahira Barry has revealed she was forced to turn down a role in the new Calvin Harris video – because she’s too busy filming Ted 2.
The Playboy model, who moved to LA full time this summer, admitted it broke her heart to say no but she already had committed to work on the Mark Wahlberg comedy.
“I auditioned for a Calvin Harris video last week and got a call saying that I booked the job,” she explained.

“It makes me so happy to have booked it but the downside was I’m already booked and committed to working on the movie Ted 2.”
“I’m working on the movie the same day as the shoot so I had to turn down the Calvin Harris video,” she said.
“It broke my heart but hopefully what’s for you won’t pass you by. And I’m really excited to work on Ted 2.”

Shahira won’t be the only Irish person on set – as Taken actor Liam Neeson is filming the sequel too.
Other stars include Amanda Seyfried and Morgan Freeman.
