She came to fame playing the role of missing teen Amber in the RTE drama, and now Lauryn Canny is hoping to be as successful as Saoirse Ronan.
The actress, who stars in new Irish movie Poison Pen, said she looks up to The Lovely Bones star.

“Her dad was was in Poison Pen actually. So I was like ‘Oh my God, we’re basically friends now’.
Meanwhile Lauryn revealed her friends try to get people to recognise her when she’s out and about.

“They want people to recognise me when we’re out so they go around and just yell ‘Amber! Amber”‘ and it’s embarrassing,” she told Kiss magazine.
