Brenda Fricker has revealed she is semi-retired and can’t see herself making any more movies.
Speaking at the Galway Film Fleadh the Home Alone actress said she feels like she is retired.
When asked if she will be making more movies she said:
“I’m semi-retired now. I’ve been 40 years in the business, so no.”

The outspoken star also told how she almost missed out on her award winning role in My Left Foot.
“I was busy doing Casualty at the time and I wasn’t pushed about doing film at all. But my husband moved mountains and got the dates changed.”
