Zayn Malik has been dropped by his long-term manager

The singer is reportedly difficult to deal with

Zayn Malik has been dropped by his long-term manager Sarah Stennett.

The former One Direction star began working with Sarah shortly after his departure from the band.

However, they have since parted ways as their relationship became strained because Zayn refused to tour and promote his first album Mind Of Mine.

Sources have told Variety that Sarah’s management company decided to drop Zayn for allegedly being “challenging to work with, declining many promotional opportunities and not touring behind his last album.”

Although Zayn had agreed to promote his upcoming album, as he is currently planning and rehearsing for a tour, First Access Entertainment decided to terminate their relationship with the singer.

Sarah is the co-founder of First Access Entertainment, and ranked number 89 on the Billboard Power 100 2018. First Access Entertainment also manages Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Nicole Scherzinger.

Sarah confirmed the news to Variety, adding, “Sometimes in life you have to make extremely difficult decisions to effect positive change for everyone.”
