The 60th Annual Grammy Awards took place in New York City last night, and as usual, the ceremony was seriously star-studded.
From Cardi B to Lady Gaga, the Grammys played host to a tonne of a-list celebrities last night – and now it’s been revealed that each guest went home with a goodie bag worth around $30,000.
Some of the most notable gifts are: a week’s stay at the Golden Door spa worth around $9K, family circus training, and a custom acoustic guitar to write their hits on.
Actress Kyana Teresa dubbed it the ultimate “#swagbag”, and posted this picture on her Instagram.
The goodie bag also includes lavish beauty products, VIP airport services, designer jewellery, gourmet restaurant gift cards, and even cocktail making classes.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Los Angeles marketing firm Distinctive Assets have provided the luxury Grammy gift bags for nearly two decades, and they’ve also reported that some stars don’t accept the goodie bag because they have to pay taxes on its value.
The gifts are distributed at various points: at a Gift Lounge open during three full days of rehearsals at the Staples Center, in preassembled gift bags to presenters and performers, and smaller goodie bags given to guests.
