Venus Williams tearfully addressed her recent car crash, which left one man dead, at Wimbledon.
The tennis star was asked about the accident at a press conference on Monday after she defeated Elise Mertens.
“There are really no words to describe, like, how devastating and — yeah. I’m completely speechless,” an emotional Venus said.

“It’s just…” she added before trailing off and breaking down in tears.
Venus then left the room to regain her composure, and returned shortly afterwards to answer a couple of further questions about the match.
The sports star was involved in a collision with 78-year-old Jerome Barson and his 68-year-old wife Linda in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on June 9th.
Jerome suffered head trauma and was placed in intensive care in hospital, where he sadly died two weeks later.
A police report allegedly found Venus “at fault” for the accident, and she broke her silence over the weekend.
“I am devasted [sic] and heartbroken by this accident. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Jerome Barson and I continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers,” she shared on Facebook.
