Taylor Swift opened the music video for her new track, ‘ME!’ with a snake, as a reference to her feud with Kim Kardashian.
The 29-year-old used her feud with the celeb and her husband, Kanye West in her Reputation tour, in which she used huge snake props on-stage and a snake microphone.
It looks like Taylor is letting go of the comment in her latest music video though, as it opens with a reptile hissing, before it turns into a flutter of butterflies.
Many fans commented on the snake reference, as one tweeted: “I feel like the snake exploding into the butterflies signifies her finally reaching this place of ultimate happiness. This is the new era. Beautiful and even more filled with self love.”
“Okay but Taylor Swift is really just gonna blow up the snake into hundreds of butterflies to ring in the new era? Reputation is dead, we on some rainbow gang s*** now,” another tweeted.
Taylor teamed up with Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco for her new track, after dropping clues about her music for months.
