Pete Davidson has slammed Kanye West over his Pro-Trump speech on Saturday Night Live last week.
The rapper stepped in for Ariana Grande after she pulled out of the show, but his performance was not well-received by everyone as he took the air-time to talk politics.
The 41-year-old was slammed online for his Pro-Trump rant and even celebrities such as Lana Del Rey and Alec Baldwin hit out at the rapper for his recent controversial comments.
SNL star, Pete Davidson, has now spoken out about Kanye’s political rant and mocked the father-of-three for wearing a “stupid” MAGA hat on the show.
Pete did a segment about Kanye’s speech in which he spoke about Kanye’s comments regarding slavery and “democrats breaking up black families for welfare.”
“Do you know how wrong about politics you have to be for like me to notice?” he joked.
Speaking of Kanye’s announcement that he is bipolar but hasn’t taken medication for the disorder in five months, Pete said: “Kanye, I know you’re like ‘This is the real me, I’m off the meds.” Take ’em. There’s no shame in the medicine game.”
“Being mentally ill isn’t an excuse to act like a jackass,” the 24-year-old continued.
The comedian then put on a ‘Make Kanye 2006 Again’ hat as he said the only way Kanye could win him over was if he went back to his 2006 self.
Pete’s commentary on the father-of-three’s SNL appearance comes on the same day that Kanye deleted all of his social media following the backlash he received from his political comments.
