The trailer for Kesha’s upcoming documentary, ‘Rainbow – The Film’, has been released on YouTube.
The documentary shows the journey of the singer recording her first album since her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke.
She said in the trailer, “Sometimes things feel like they’re too much to handle. You may be able to pull it together and put on a front in front of others.”
“But inside you’re trapped, suffocating slowly,” the 31-year-old continued.
‘Rainbow’ was released last year after Kesha’s long legal battle with Dr. Luke ended, and is the first album the singer has released in five years.
The producer was accused of sexual abuse, harassment and inflicting emotional distress on the singer in 2014.
The legal proceedings lasted for three years before being dismissed by Judge Kornreich.
“Making ‘Rainbow’ the album was such a therapeutic process and given the opportunity to turn it into a three-dimensional piece of art has helped me find even deeper healing and catharsis,” Kesha said in a statement.
The documentary shows recording sessions from the ‘Rainbow’ album, her 2018 Grammy Awards performance and live shows from the singer.
The full documentary will be released on Apple Music on 10th August.
