James Corden wanted to call his new baby daughter after superstar singer Beyoncé.
The TV host told the Late Late audience on last night’s show that he wanted to call his new baby girl after Queen Bey, but his wife did not appreciate the joke.
James and his wife Julia Carey welcomed their third child into the world during the week.
Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great. We can’t stop smiling. Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice! x x x

The 39 year old told his Late Late Show audience, “I looked at the doctor and I said, ‘We’re going to call her Beyoncé’ …My wife did not think that was funny”.
Apparently the nurse attending to Julia took him quite seriously, and started filling out the necessary paperwork.
“I had to go over to her and go ‘Excuse me, there’s only Beyonce,'” he laughed.
James also thanked Harry Styles for filling in for him while he was away.
“I said, ‘You know, look, this works both ways man. If you ever need me, I can fill in for you at one of your concerts. You just say the word,'” the host said before belting out Sign of the Times. “He said, ‘James that won’t be necessary.'”
