Everyone is talking about Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh’s roast of Lady Gaga.
The Golden Globe hosts poked fun at a number of huge actors and actresses throughout the night, but their joke about Lady Gaga is what everyone is talking about.
During the singer’s time doing press interviews for A Star Is Born, she became known for her ‘100 people’ line.
The 32-year-old would regularly tell interviewers that there could be 100 people in a room and while 99 of them would not believe in you, one person would.
Gaga would always refer to her co-star and director of A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper, as that one person.
The actress said the line so often that it became an ongoing joke online and she was even mocked over it during the Golden Globes.
The award ceremony hosts couldn’t waste the opportunity to bring up Gaga’s famous line during their opening speech, as Sandra told the audience: “I’m just coming up with this now..”
“There can be 100 people in the room, and 99 don’t believe in you—and you just need one to believe in you, and that was Bradley Cooper,” she continued, as the audience burst into laughter.
The singer then shouted: “It’s true!”, from the crowd.
