Meghan Markle and Beyonce have met for the first time – and fans are going crazy.
The Duchess of Sussex famously appears in Beyonce and husband Jay Z’s music video for their hit song Apes***. Although the pair had never met, Mr and Mrs Carter made paid tribute to her by having a painting of Prince Harry’s wife in the music video.
At the time Beyonce was praised for the move, and a close friend of Meghan’s had revealed he told her about the video.
The pair finally got to meet this weekend, at the London premiere of The Lion King, which Beyonce has a new song featured in.

Fans were quick to celebrate the special moment, with many taking to Royalty to say the American ‘royals’ had finally met the British Royals:
