Vanessa Hudgens’ show Powerless pulled from NBC’s schedule

It looks like the show is over for Vanessa Hudgens’ TV series.

According to Variety, Powerless has been pulled from NBC’s schedule due to low ratings and it’s not clear if or when the final three episodes of the season will air.

“#Powerless will not air this week or next. This, I know for sure. I can guess some other things but they’re not good. Thanks for watching,” creator Patrick Schumacker confirmed via Twitter.

The sitcom has not yet officially been cancelled, but Variety reports that it is likely only a matter of time.

Powerless premiered in February and has aired nine episodes to date, drawing in 3.1 million viewers for its pilot but just 2 million for the most recent episode.

The show was DC Comics’ first live-action comedy and also starred Danny Pudi, Christina Kirk, Alan Tudyk and Ron Funches.

Powerless followed Emily Locke (Hudgens), an office worker who is trying to live an ordinary life in a world of superheroes and villains.
