Travis Scott had nothing to do with the removal of transgender model from his album cover

Travis Scott reportedly had nothing to do with the removal of a transgender model from his album cover.

The rapper came under heavy criticism after it was revealed that transgender model, Amanda Lepore, had been removed from the cover of his upcoming album.

Sources close to the rapper told TMZ that Travis didn’t know that Amanda was in a different version of the album cover.

The singer was only sent the final cover for ‘Astroworld’ and was unaware of the other versions, according to sources.

Although Amanda did not seem to be phased by the decision, others took to social media to show their disgust in the situation.

RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, Aquaria and former Drag Race Queen, Sharon Needles, both shared their opinions on social media.

While Aquaria linked the decision to transphobia, Sharon Needles jokingly tweeted the model, telling her that she could appear on her album cover.

The artist who sent Travis the final album cover, David LaChapelle, has yet to reveal why Amanda was removed from the photograph.
