Travis Scott accused of transphobia

Travis Scott has been accused of transphobia after the release of his latest album artwork.

Aquaria, the winner of the tenth series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, highlighted an edit in a spot the difference style post that showed Amanda Lepore, an American transgender model, completely left out of the album cover the rapper chose to publish.

“The mysterious case of the disappearing Amanda…. hmmm,” the drag queen captioned the post before tagging the rapper.

Amanda took to Instagram to question Kylie Jenner’s partner’s motive behind editing her out.

“It was great being part of @david_lachapelle s incredible photograph of @travisscott s albulm cover but I’m curious why I’m not on the picture @travisscott posted ????❤????” she queried on Instagram.

Aquaria followed up her initial tweet writing, “Hi transphobia! I just saw transphobia gurl!”

The comments section under both posts were inundated with people calling out the rapper for transphobia with some people calling him a “problematic” man.

“At this point throw the whole album away,” another person tweeted.

Caitlyn Jenner is a transgender activist so these accusations may prove troubling for Travis’ relationship with Kylie Jenner.
