Khloe Kardashian has been sharing plenty of snaps from her first Christmas with her daughter True, but her boyfriend Tristan Thompson has been noticeably absent from her posts.
As always, the KarJenner clan celebrated the festive holiday by throwing their annual Christmas Eve party, and Tristan was nowhere to be seen in snaps posted on social media.
It has since been revealed that Tristan was forced to miss his daughter’s first Christmas due to his hectic basketball schedule.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward had a game on December 23, and played another on St. Stephen’s Day.

An insider has since explained to E! News, “Khloe wanted to be in L.A. with her family for Christmas. There was nothing more special than seeing True with her cousins on Christmas morning.
“There was no way she was going to miss the family Christmas Eve party and being a part of opening presents all together on Christmas morning.”
“She loves her family traditions and wants to continue them with True. She was so happy to be with True and her family on Christmas. That was all she wanted,” they added.
As for where things stand between Khloe and Tristan right now, the insider said, “Khloe takes one day at a time and focuses on True and giving her everything that she can.”
The status of Khloe and Tristan’s relationship has been heavily documented in the press, ever since the NBA player was accused of cheating on Khloe just days before she gave birth back in April.
Despite the scandal, Khloe chose to stay with Tristan for the sake of their daughter.
