Taylor Swift is “honoured” to be a part of Cats, as new details of the musical have been released.
The 29-year-old is starring in the highly-anticipated film, alongside huge stars such as Judi Dench, Idris Elba and Jennifer Hudson.
There haven’t been many details released about the film, but fans at CinemaCon were given a sneak peek at behind-the-scenes footage.
The Daily Mail has reported that Taylor said she was “honoured” to be part of the film during one of the clips shown at the festival.
“My first memories of musical theatre actually bring me to my first memories of wanting to be a performer in any capacity. Being in a musical with Tom [Hooper] directing, I’m just so honoured to get to be a part of this,” she said.
Fans were also shocked after learning through the teaser that the cast are being portrayed as the size of real cats, as the set is huge, with oversized chairs and doors etc.
