Beyoncé is the hot favourite to play the starring role of Nala in the live-action remake of The Lion King, according to reports.
Variety reports that the singer has not made a decision just yet, as she’s currently pregnant with twins.
Jon Favreau, who headed The Jungle Book remake last year, will direct The Lion King live-action remake – while Donald Glover will voice the character of Simba and James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Simba’s father Mufasa.
A release date for the new Lion King film has not yet been announced.
