Charlie Heaton was reportedly denied entry into the United States when authorities discovered he was in possession of cocaine
The Stranger Things star was noticeably absent from the season two premiere of the hit Netflix series in LA.
The Sun has reported that the 23-year-old British actor was en route to Los Angeles from London last Saturday when U.S. border officials detained him, after sniffer dogs detected the substance.
A source said, “He was not arrested. He was held at the airport for a while and then put back on a plane to London that night.”
Charlie has not commented publicly on the reports.
Meanwhile, none of his co-stars mentioned his absence on the red carpet at the LA premiere, including his rumoured girlfriend Natalia Dyer.
