Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z has further fuelled speculation that Beyoncé has given birth to twins – as he skipped the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony in New York on Thursday.
Despite receiving the honour of being the first rapper ever to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, Jay was no where to be seen as his friend and record label head Jon Platt picked up his award for him on the night.
According to Variety, the rapper’s mother, grandmother, sister and friends were in the audience – and a video message from Barack Obama was played.
Jon Platt told the audience, “I can’t begin to tell you how much this award means to Jay. He’s really sorry he can’t be here with you tonight.”

Fuelling speculation even more, Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles has been spotted at the Los Angeles medical centre – where Queen Bey is rumoured to have welcomed a boy and a girl.
According to Radar Online, Beyonce’s younger sister was seen pulling into the medical facility on Thursday.
The news comes after Jay Z was spotted leaving their Beverly Hills mansion on Tuesday, after Twitter went into overdrive over rumours his wife was in labour.

The 99 Problems rapper was reportedly headed in the direction of the Westwood-based medical facility.
An insider told Hollywood Life, “Beyonce’s security was seen leaving her Beverly Hills home this morning carrying two baby seats to a hospital in West LA.
“Beyonce’s due date was yesterday and she has been seeing her OB/GYN on a regular basis at a different location. This trip to this hospital is unique.”
