Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly expecting a baby girl.
According to TMZ, the famous couple hired a surrogate for a sum upwards of $45,000 back in June – and now the surrogate is finally pregnant.
It’s expected that Kimye will welcome their third child in January 2018.
A source reportedly told People, “The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate.”
“Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye. Both of them have been super involved in the process.”
Kim, who gave birth to daughter North in 2013, and then son Saint in 2015, was previously warned of serious health risks if she tried to carry another baby.
The reality star suffered from placenta accreta during her last pregnancy, a condition which sees the placenta grows into the womb’s wall, preventing it from easily detaching at birth.
