Selena Gomez’s alleged ’emotional breakdown’ reportedly caused because ‘she feels responsible for other people’

Selena Gomez’s alleged “emotional breakdown” was reportedly caused because “she feels responsible for other people.”

The 26-year-old is reportedly seeking treatment after allegedly being hospitalised twice in the space of two weeks.

TMZ reported that the singer entered Cedars-Sinai hospital at the end of September and was re-admitted a week later.

Selena has now reportedly entered another psychiatric facility on the east coast and is receiving dialectical behaviour therapy.

A source has told Us Weekly that the former Disney star entered hospital as “she feels responsible for a lot of other people, and has since a young age. There’s a lot pressure.”

“She’s sensitive; she also doesn’t want to do a big press run and get asked about things that she doesn’t want to talk about,” the source continued.

Another source told E! News that the singer has struggled with depression for a long time: “Depression is something she’s always struggled with, but whenever it gets really bad for Selena, she removes herself from social media and withdraws from people who aren’t a handful of the people she trusts.”

“Selena has been trying really hard recently to remain focused and not let her health affect her,” the source claimed.

Selena’s alleged hospitalisation comes after rumours were sparked that her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, got married to Hailey Baldwin last month.
