Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have split after under a year of dating.
People.com have confirmed the news, as Selena has been spotted with her ex Justin Bieber, three times in the last two days.
The pair were seen in deep conversation in a cafe in LA, while Justin was also photographed leaving Selena’s house.
The Weeknd has made a clear statement since the photos have appeared, unfollowing Selena on Instagram, as well as most of her friends and family.
“She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship,” an insider told People.com.
“It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.”
“It’s over for now, but they’re still in touch,” the source added.
Selena has had a rough few months, revealing just weeks ago that she underwent a kidney transplant.
Sources close to the singer told TMZ that they do not want Justin back in her life, referring to him as “toxic”.
