Ryan Reynolds shares emotional message after stunt woman dies on the set of Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds has released a statement after a stunt woman was killed on the set of Deadpool 2.

The actor took to social media to share an emotional message, after reports that a woman had died after she lost control of her motorcycle on set, on crashed through the glass of a studio.

“Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool,” he wrote.

“We’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated … but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment. My heart pours out to them — along with each and every person she touched in this world.”

Speaking about the tragedy, 20th Century Fox said their “hearts and prayers” were with those closest to her.

“We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of ‘Deadpool 2’ this morning,” a studio spokesperson said.

“Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”
