Russell Brand has revealed that he’d like to reconcile with his ex-wife Katy Perry.
In December 2011, the famous couple shocked fans when they announced that they were divorcing after just 14 months of marriage.
Although their relationship didn’t end well, the 42-year-old has now said that he’d like to be friends with his ex-wife.
In a new interview with Grazia, Russell said, “I’m willing and open for reconciliation, any kind. Because if we can’t overcome our relatively trivial personal disputes in this world, what hope is there for us?”
The comedian, who recently married Scottish lifestyle blogger Laura Gallacher, also insisted that he has no regrets about his marriage to Katy.
“It was a very important and lovely time in my life. I don’t regret being married to Katy at all. I have very positive feelings about that whole experience and Katy is an extraordinary woman.’
Russell, who shares 10-month-old daughter Mabel with his wife Laura, also revealed that he has no plans to remove the tattoo he has on his arm (which reads ‘go with the flow’ in Sanskrit) which him and Katy both had done.
