Riverdale has been renewed for a third season

The CW’s Riverdale has been renewed for a third season.

The Archie Comics-inspired series was among many shows renewed by the CW, including nearly all of The CW’s other comic book related television shows.

The series stars KJ Apa (Archie Andrews), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) and Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones).

Since the news broke, the cast of the hit series have taken to social media to share their excitement.
