Joel Embiid burned Rihanna yesterday on television after he became an NBA All-Star.
The 23-year-old, like all of us, had a crush on the Barbadian singer.
He tweeted her when he got called up to the top basketball league chancing his arm at a date with the pop superstar.
She turned him down, replying “Come back to me when you’re an All-Star.”
Yesterday the Philidelphia 76ers centre was made an All-Star and was asked if he would be pursuing her again now that he fulfilled her criteria.
The Cameroonian decided if she didn’t want him the first time, he has no interest in her now.
He told TNT “If she denied me back then, why go with her again? I have to pass that and move on to the next one.”
We don’t think she will be stuck for suitors…
