Richard Simmons is in hospital.
The reclusive fitness guru was hospitalised in California yesterday for “severe indigestion”, his representative told ABC News.
“Richard Simmons was hospitalized on Monday at an undisclosed location in California,” Michael Catalano said. “After a few days of battling severe indigestion and discomfort while eating, we agreed it was best for him to seek treatment.”
The spokesperson added: “He’s already feeling better and is expected to make a full recovery.”

Simmons has not been seen in public since 2o14 and his gym Slimmons closed in November of last year.
People have grown so baffled about what happened to the star that rumours swirled he was being held hostage by his housekeeper, and a podcast launched in February called Missing Richard Simmons.
Last month, the Los Angeles Police Department conducted a welfare check at his home and said in a statement that he was “perfectly fine” and “very happy”.
Simmons himself commented on the concern to Entertainment Tonight last year, saying, “No one should be worried about me. It was time for me to take some time to be by myself.”
